This is an original custom design of mine that was inspired by Asian and Pacific island architectural forms. The top is bleached ash with an ebony and pewter disc detail at each end. Surrounding these end details is a shallow recessed oval with a gouged textured surface. The base is Wenge and the cross beam connecting the legs features a traditional sword hilt wrapping of sting-ray skin and silk Ito tape. Designed to function as a bench it can also be modified to work as a coffee table. In either function this beautiful bespoke design creates an artistic statement where ever it is placed.The dimensions can be customized to fit your space. Shown here it is 65" long x 16"wide x 17"high.
