This bed draws much of its character from Japanese architecture. As with any custom bed, the dimensions will depend on the size (Queen or King) and thickness of the mattress and box spring you select, your preference for the mattress top height, and any other area restrictions that the bedroom may impose. The headboard features one very wide board (about 17” to 18" wide). The bed is securely assembled with four special bolts and a wrench that I supply. Bed shown here is Queen size, in cherry. It can also be ordered and built as a platform bed for a mattress only.
