This original design can be used as a distinctive dining room sideboard, hall cabinet, living room divider, or in the bedroom. Made of mahogany and bleached ash. The top, this piece's artistic focus, is carved in a Maori pattern from New Zealand. Red dyed rope and ebony pegs complete the lower cross-bar. The sides of this case are one very wide board. It has five drawers and a properly finished frame and panel back. This sideboard won the Best Original Design Award at the Maine Wood 2016 Show at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine. This design is an exquisite tour-de-force of hand craftsmanship and will be a family heirloom for generations.
