This original design can be used as a distinctive dining room sideboard, hall cabinet, living room divider, or in the bedroom. Made of mahogany and bleached ash. The top, this pieces artistic focus, is carved in a Maori pattern from New Zealand. Red dyed rope and ebony pegs complete the lower cross-bar. The sides of this case are one very wide board. It has five drawers and a properly finished frame and panel back. This sideboard won the Best Original Design Award at the Maine Wood 2016 Show at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine.
