This minimalist table design allows the natural beauty and uniqueness of the slab top to be fully appreciated. Shown here with a walnut top and Wenge butterflies as in the style of George Nakashima's work. Other wood species and table dimensions can be commissioned. The table base is maple with a special transparent treatment, not a stain, that mimics the silver/gray tone of steel. I use this treatment on several of my contemporary table designs.
