This custom designed table/desk with a drawer in the Chinese Style is made of ebonized cherry, with a mahogany top panel. The drawer interior is ash with hand-cut dovetails and a traditionally made ash bottom. The traditional mitered-mortise, mortise and tenon and hand cut dovetail joinery will guarantee this desk will last for generations. My Chinese Style Stool is the perfect companion. This bespoke design is inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Chinese Room Chair from one of the Glasgow Tea Rooms from the 1900's.
