74" H x 28 7/8" W x 6 1/2" Deep
This is an exact reproduction, except for the finish, of the tall-clock designed by C. R. Mackintosh for the Willow tea-rooms in Glasgow in 1903. The clock face is polished steel with brass numerals. The clock is fitted with a high quality German wind-up movement that offers a choice of three chime melodies. As with the original, this is not a pendulum movement. The lower case door gives access to a set of fixed shallow shelves.
The original case has a murky dark stain. I have chosen a more labor intensive but superior transparent ebonized finish that does greater justice to this timeless design masterpiece.
