Kevin takes responsibility for every aspect of each commission—from sourcing the materials used, down to the finish. On each commission, once a design is finalized, he requires a 50% deposit; the balance is due upon completion before it’s shipped. Shipping is extra but is through an experienced blanket-wrap furniture moving company here in Maine that Kevin has used for years. The shipping cost will be attached to the final 50% invoice.
For new design work there may be a design fee depending on its complexity, which will be counted towards the final cost of the piece. Modifications of existing designs usually require no design fee.
The Kevin Rodel studio/shop is located in historic Cabot Mills, a former 19th-century textile mill on the Androscoggin River in Brunswick, Maine, just 15 minutes north of L.L. Bean. If you are visiting Maine and wish to stop in, please call ahead for an appointment.
