This Asian inspired Arts and Crafts bench was designed for use in a hallway, entry way or guest bedroom. The low seat height, only 16" from the floor, is an ideal height for removing shoes or boots after a long trip as well as putting them on first thing in the morning. A standard seat height is around 17 1/2". The 40" length fits perfectly at the foot of a twin bed and the longer 60" length works for a queen size. Either works in the hallway or entryway and the seat height can always be requested at the standard 17 1/2" height for use as a bench.
