Hoffman Table
“Eatzmachine”

64" L (closed) 92" L (open)
x 42" W x 30" H

If you are familiar with the Austrian designer Josef Hoffmann, and his version of the Morris chair called the “sitzmachine,” you’ll get the historical reference. The table comes with four 7" wide extension leaves to open to a maximum of 92". When closed the table will seat four with ample space. With one set of leaves it accommodates six and with all four leaves eight diners.

This design, with a central fixed pedestal and extending ends guarantees a stable, non-shaky table with no center sag when extended. Since the outer legs move with the extension sections there is never the problem of diners having to straddle a table leg.
